"CAPTURING LIFE AND THE THINGS YOU LOVE AT ITS BEST COOLEST"

by juliana monteiro-waldman

"This blog is a work in progress. As I dig thru my photo files I reconnect to my history as a photographer and realize it’s what I was meant to do all the way. I simple love it. Slowly I'll post old and new works. Everything I think will be relevant to my new clients. Here and there, an image that may just speak to me." 02/28/2014

THE PHOTOGRAPHER

Juliana has been working with photography for more than 18 years; she has done a bit of everything in the field, from heartbreaking photojournalism to photographing baby clothes for a retailer.  After working as reporter - writing and shooting - for almost 10 years she hung up the boots to raise her three adorable kids, without retiring her camera. Instead, she jumped into the commercial side of the affair. As of now, she's breaking a new ground offering her keen eye to the Westchester landscape and beyond.

Born in Brazil, Juliana has a degree in Journalism and has had her work published in several media outlets in her home country, such as the major newspaper Folha de S. Paulo and magazines like Capricho, Trip, Offshore, and Jovem Pan. In New York, she interned at the legendary photojournalism agency Magnum Photos, home of Henri Cartie-Bresson, Bruce Davidson, Elliott Erwitt, just to name a few. "It was a dream that became true." She also had her works published at Time Out NY, The New York Sun and LIC Ins & Outs Magazine.
